Top New Features in the 2015 Hyundai Genesis

http://pictures.dealer.com/s/superiorhyundai/1230/c656ba787690f84feb62a79c426a6c9cx.jpg

The 2015 Hyundai Genesis, now available at Superior Hyundai South, has several new features; however, it kept the same engines and 8-speed automatic transmission. The engines have been changed marginally - they have a little less horsepower than the engines in the 2014 model year, but they have more torque.

The 5.0-liter version has 420 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque - and increase of 7 pound-feet of torque and a decrease of 9 horsepower. The 3.8-liter V-6 engine has 311 horsepower and 293 pound-feet of torque - an increase of 2 pound-feet of torque and a decrease of 22 horsepower.

The Looks

The new Genesis has a wheelbase that is 2.9 inches longer than the 2014 model year, but the overall length of the sedan is just 0.2 inch. The hood is longer and the cabin is pushed back, creating a sportier-looking sedan. The overhangs are also shorter. This changes is part of Hyundai's Fluidic Sculpture 2.0.

The Hydraulic System

While the five-link multilink layout is the same as the 2014 model year, Hyundai made a change to the variable ratio steering. It now works with Hyundai's steering-assist motor, which is mounted on the rack instead of the column. This gives the ride a significant improvement. Also, the Intelligent Drive Mode system, a system that alters the transmission, all-wheel drive and the engine, is new. The Intelligent Drive Mode system works with the Snow, Sport, Eco and Normal settings.

Additional Carryover Features

Though the safety systems have not changed, they are worth mentioning since many people look for a vehicle that features extensive safety equipment. The new Genesis will have forward collision warning and emergency braking available. Lane departure warning is optional. Standard features, depending on the trim level, include adaptive cruise control, automatic high beams, blind spot warning, cross traffic alert and a head-up display.

This year, you can also opt for an entertainment system that features a 9.2-inch 720p high definition display, a 900-watt Lexicon stereo and premium navigation. Standard equipment includes an 8-inch display, 14-speaker Lexicon system and navigation. Additional features include a Smart Trunk and Google Glass works with BlueLink.

Road Trip Destinations

Frank Kehren/Flickr Creative Commons

Since the weather isn't oppressing during the fall, this is the time to take road trips. If you want to see some of the best fall foliage, you need to head out to the mountains. If you prefer more action, then you can head out to a place with tons of music venues and other places with something going on just about every day.

Cherohala Skyway

Before you head out, be sure to have your vehicle serviced at Superior Hyundai South. And, if you are considering a new vehicle, what better way to celebrate your new car by taking a road trip. Head over to our sales department to pick up your next vehicle now.

Plan a road trip over the Cherohala Skyway. The Skyway is 42 miles long and it reaches a mile above sea level. Starting in Tellico Plains, Tennessee, the Skyway crosses the Great Smoky Mountains into Robbinsville, North Carolina. The Skyway is comprised of two highways: Tennessee State Highway 165 and North Carolina 143. You'll follow a mile-high ridge in the Unicoi Mountains. Tellico Plains is at 930 feet and the highest point at Santeetlah Overlook is 5,390 feet - just over a mile.

The road starts at the Cherohala Skyway Visitor Center at 225 Cherohala Skyway. Pick up maps, information, a picnic lunch, drinks and top off the tank. There are no restaurants or gas stations on the Skyway. However, there are plenty of great views including a side trip to Bald River Falls; hiking, fishing and camping in Nantahala National Forest; Santeetlah Overlook; and the Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest.

The Old Blues Highway

Starting in Memphis, you can take Highway 61 along a legendary route that follows the Mississippi River. Follow the route to Vicksburg to find plenty of music including soul, R&B and gospel.

In Memphis, be sure to visit the Stax Museum of American Soul Music, located at 926 E. McLemore Ave. The museum is named after the famous record label that recorded Isaac Hayes, Otis Redding and the Staple Singers.

Take a tour with Tad Pierson of American Dream Safari (americandreamsafari.com) of Memphis nightclubs to hear live Blues music. Before you leave Memphis, stop at Downtown's Rendezvous at 52 S. Second Street or Tops Bar-B-Q located at 1258 Union Ave. for some of the best barbecue. Head out to Tunica, Clarksdale, Rosedale and Vicksburg for more music and great food.

Before you head out on any of these road trips, make sure your vehicle is in shape for these trips, especially the trip over the mountains. Have everything including the brakes checked at Superior Hyundai South.

Fun Road Trip Games

Image by Tobias via Flickr Creative Commons

After getting your vehicle serviced at Superior Hyundai South - or buying or leasing a new vehicle from us - you're ready for a road trip. One of the things you should think about "packing" is some road trip games to keep the kids busy. Otherwise, they're going to get bored, even with a DVD player in the vehicle and they'll start driving you up the proverbial wall. Keeping them busy will keep them from arguing with each other and will also give them an opportunity to learn. Who ever thought homework could be fun?

Spelling Bee

If you have younger kids, get their spelling list from the teacher. You can use those words or mix them with other words. If you want to make the game more exciting or you run out of school words, you can have the kids spell the names of things you see on the road. You might see a sign and have them spell "sign." You might see a motel and have them spell "motel." Just be sure to pick words that are age-appropriate. For example, you wouldn't have a 6-year-old spell "rambunctious" even though the kids might be acting that way.

I Spy

I Spy is an oldie but goodie. One person starts with saying, "I spy? and then give a clue such as a color, the first letter of the item, etc. That person gives clues until someone guesses. The person that guesses goes next. Make sure the things everyone picks are within everyone's vision for at least a few minutes. Pick things in the car or farther down the road.

Group Story is also an oldie, but goodie. One person starts with a line, then another person adds to it and so on, to make a story. You can make this more challenging by ruling that the last word of the sentence must rhyme with the last word of the previous sentence. You can also create poetry this way, instead of doing a regular story.

Keeping the kids busy during a road trip makes the trip entertaining, relaxing and fun for all. And when you don't have to worry about your vehicle that just tops it all off. Be sure to have your vehicle serviced at Superior Hyundai South if you haven't recently - or if you haven't bought or leased a new vehicle this summer.

Buying a New vs. Used Car

http://images.dealer.com/evox/color_0640_001/7023/7023_cc0640_001_AT.jpg

When you head out to Superior Hyundai South, you can buy a new or used car - and this is a personal choice. Often people who want something with more bells and whistles will buy a used car as they can get more vehicle for their money. Often, you can find vehicles just a couple of years old with decent mileage on them.

Instead of having to settle for a Sonata, you just might be able to find a Genesis with all of the bells and whistles, just the right financing, and low mileage to boot.

You'll find that buying used has other benefits, too - depreciation is a big one. A used vehicle that is just a couple of years old doesn't depreciate as fast as a brand new car. And, when you buy a used car from us, we make sure the vehicle is in excellent working condition and is up to date on service.

When you go to trade in your new-to-you car in a few years, you won't lose as much money as you would if you were to buy a brand new vehicle. And, if you keep it in great condition and keep the mileage low enough, you could make out pretty good.

Right now, Superior Hyundai South has a 2011 Hyundai Genesis for just over $24,000 - and it has just over 15,500 miles on it. This model has tons of bells and whistle including illuminated entry, distance pacing cruise control, a power moon roof, steering wheel memory, automatic temperature control, a memory seat, remote keyless entry, a navigation system, a 17-speaker audio system, heated and ventilated front seats, a leather steering wheel, auto-dimming door mirrors, heated door mirrors, a 4.6-liter engine that makes 385 horsepower, parking sensors, high intensity discharge headlights, rain-sensing wipers and more.

Stop by Superior Hyundai South today to test drive this or any other used vehicle on the lot. Be sure to ask your salesperson about all of the features with each vehicle, and whether the vehicle you are test driving has any added options included.

Hyundai Buys Solo Sponsorship of Hulu's Mario Batali Show

http://pictures.dealer.com/s/superiorhyundai/0248/02cdef54516526ff49e431204f64cdb9x.jpg

One of the best ways to market a product is to use unconventional marketing. This makes people pay attention to the ad campaign. Hyundai has done just that for the Genesis, which is available at Superior Hyundai South.

In its newest ad campaign, Hyundai bought sole sponsorship rights for "The High Road" series on Hulu. The series is shot in New York and is filmed in black and white. Mario Batali interview celebrities on the show. This season's shows will include Jimmy Fallon, George Stephanopoulos, Rachel Ray and Isabella Rossellini. Part of Rossellini's interview will be shot in a Hyundai Genesis.

According to David Matathia, the director of marketing for Hyundai, people want content on their own terms, they want "what they want when they want it." Maatathia says that branded content such as the ad campaign with Hulu and "The High Road" gives the auto maker a huge advantage.

Because Hyundai puts a lot of effort into its launches so that it can build awareness for consumers. He also needs to sustain the launch activity when it's time for the next new model to come out. Creating a sole sponsorship allows just that, it allows the auto manufacturer to cater to a specific audience and to make sure that audience sees every new model that comes out, including vehicles with changes, whether significant or insignificant.

Using branded content is a benefit to Hyundai and its partner. In this case, Hyundai benefits because it will be the sole commercial on the show; and "The High Road" benefits as it needed a single, large sponsor for the show.

This is not the first time Hyundai spent this kind of money on an ad campaign. It bought advertising in the Super Bowl and is one of seven official World Cup sponsors. Matathia is hoping to reach a different crowd.

"The High Road," according to Batali, is to "capture conversation with interesting people outside of their personal and professional domains. He also stated that the series is his love letter to New York City.

To learn more about the Genesis and to get a list of convenience, safety, entertainment and security features, stop by Superior Hyundai South today and test drive one of the models on the lot.

Buying vs. Leasing a Car

When you visit Superior Hyundai South to test drive a vehicle, one of the choices you'll have to make is whether to lease or buy. Each method has its own positives and negatives. Figuring out which method suits you best is how you will determine the answer to whether to lease or buy a vehicle.

The benefits of buying a vehicle include the ability to keep the vehicle as long as you want, the ability to change something on the vehicle, and equity in the vehicle. Alterations might include upgrading the wheels, adding some "go fast parts" to the engine, changing the paint color, or even adding bumper stickers.

Additionally, when you buy a vehicle, you don't have mileage restrictions. If your commute is a long one or you like to go on road trips fairly often, you might be better off buying. Or, if you are the type that has to change something, such as adding pin striping, changing out the stock air filter, adding an MSD or any other modification, buying might be better than leasing for you.

Some of the drawbacks of buying a vehicle include having to take a loss because the resale value of the vehicle you like is not as high as some other vehicles, having a chance that you will be upside down on the loan when you decide you want a different vehicle, and not getting to get a new vehicle every few years without possibly having it cost you thousands of dollars.

http://pictures.dealer.com/ddc/resize/x514/quality/72/sharpen/1/ddc/s/superiorhyundai/1179/dbd3c2e31f9814cc8c3874b3e24c80cex.jpg

The benefits of leasing a vehicle including getting to upgrade every few years, getting more vehicle for the money since lease payments are lower than purchase payments, getting something with a smaller down payment and getting a new vehicle before the warranty runs out.

Some of the drawbacks of leasing include mileage restrictions, if you go over the amount allowed in the lease, you pay a per mile fee at the end of the lease. You won't be able to personalize the vehicle unless you add something that can be removed. The biggest drawback is that you're paying payments on something that you don't get to keep. If you would rather have a new car every few years or if you want the new technology as it becomes available, that might outweigh the drawbacks for you.

Furthermore, while you should make it a practice to do the maintenance on a vehicle whether you buy or lease, if you do not do the maintenance on a leased vehicle, you may be charged a fee. Another downside to leasing is that your credit usually has to be great.

Before you head down to Superior Hyundai South, look at the benefits of buying and leasing and make up your mind which way is better for you so that you are ready to strike a deal when you find the vehicle you just have to have.

Road Trip Activities

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/f/fe/Road_Trip.JPG/800px-Road_Trip.JPG

Getting ready for a road trip encompasses several things, including having your vehicle checked or serviced at Superior Hyundai South. If you have kids, you'll also need to plan for some road trip activities or your head might explode about halfway through the trip because the kids are bored and are starting to argue and nit-pick at each other.

A phone or tablet might keep the kids occupied for some of the time, but eventually they will get bored with that. If your vehicle has a DVD player and LCD screens in the back seat, be sure to bring a favorite movie or two, this will help with keeping them occupied during the trip.

If you don't have a DVD player, the kids can download movies and videos on a tablet. Otherwise, you should have some activities planned, such as the Alphabet Game, Yellow Car, I Spy or License Plates.

To play the Alphabet Game, players shout out something they see that begins with a letter of the alphabet. You can start at A or Z. Yellow Car, or choose any color, is played by tallying points whenever someone sees a yellow car. The person to get the points has to be the first to call it out, and it can't be a taxi or a school bus. There are several variations of License Plates, with each type earning a certain number of points. To make it harder, have the kids find rare plates, specialty plates or even plates from Alaska or Hawaii.

Bring a deck of cards with you, you can play some games that don't require a lot of space. Two kids can play Go Fish or War. If the children are older, they can play a form of Rummy where you hold all the matches in your hand.

Additional activities might include hand-held games, such as the PlayStation portable. Be sure you have more than one or two games so the kids can switch out when they get tired of one game.

Before you leave, be sure to stop at Superior Hyundai South to get your vehicle serviced. If it was just serviced, stop by to have us check everything including the fluids.

http://pictures.dealer.com/s/superiorhyundai/1799/bd45f7554518fa423b1293cb68d688bex.jpg

If you were thinking the price of the Sonata was going up, guess again! Hyundai is shaving the price of the new Sonata sedan, available at Superior Hyundai South. Starting price for the new 2015 model year is about $300 less than the 2014 model, thus helping the midsize sedan compete with other midsize vehicles including the Camry, Accord and Fusion.

This doesn't mean that the Sonata's quality is going to suffer. On the contrary, it is significantly improved, including a new sculpted design, has a better ride, a stiffer body and more technology feature including a driver's knee airbag.

The engines available will include the 2.4-liter and the 2.0-liter turbocharged engine. Eventually, Hyundai will release a 2015 Sonata hybrid. According to Bo Pradzinski, the vice president of national sales for Hyundai Motor America, a cornerstone for the auto maker is a strong value proposition. He also stated that the midsize sedan segment is "incredibly competitive" and that Hyundai makes a "conscious effort" to bring a "world-class midsize sedan at an outstanding value" to its customers.

The 2015 Hyundai Sonata is already in production at the auto manufacturer's Alabama plant and should already be in most dealerships. If you want to see the new Sonata for yourself, stop by Superior Hyundai South to test drive the 2015 model year.

Features include a heated power driver's seat, power mirrors, one-touch power windows, a low fuel level warning, cruise control, plenty of storage, speed-proportional power steering, a universal remote transmitter for the garage door or security system, and a tilt and telescopic steering wheel with mounted cruise, transmission and audio controls.

Keep Your Hyundai Looking and Running Cool This Summer

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/4/4e/USMC-20122.jpg/800px-USMC-20122.jpg

Whether you have a brand new Hyundai from Superior Hyundai South or you have an older Hyundai, you still need to keep it maintained throughout the summer, including special maintenance for the summer. During the winter, you don't think much about the air conditioning as you don't need it, however, when the heat arrives, you're definitely thinking about that!

Air Conditioning

If you haven't had your air conditioning checked recently, and you feel it's not working up to par, you need to have it checked. Once the super-hot heat arrives, a system that is working sub-par is going to quit on you.

The air conditioning system has several components including the compressor, dryer/accumulator, orifice tube or expansion block, condenser and high- and low-pressure hoses. Of course, you have switches and other electronics and fans that go along with that. In many cases, your vehicle may simply be low on Freon. Topping it off takes care of the problem.

However, you may have a slow leak, or if the system is not cooling at all, but it comes on, you could have a large leak or a blockage. The experienced technicians at Superior Hyundai South have the equipment to diagnose the air conditioning system and to repair it.

Exterior

Spring and summer bring about tons of pollen and dust that build up on your vehicle's paint job. Keeping it washed and waxed makes the paint job stay brighter longer and helps to keep the clear coat from peeling and dulling the paint.

If you have polished aluminum or chrome wheels, be sure to keep the wheels clean. Chrome tends to "pit" if it's not kept clean, and the only way to repair that is to buy new rims or to have the rims rechromed.

Interior

The sun's rays love to destroy vehicle interiors. Keep a sunshade in the windshield if you park your Hyundai outside. The rays will crack the dash pad, fade the carpet and even the headliner, and, depending on the seat material, could fade it or even cause it to crack and tear.

Maintenance Beyond Hyundai's Recommendation

Maintenance beyond Hyundai's recommendation, such as keeping the vehicle washed and waxed, protecting the interior, cleaning the wheels and additional air conditioning service checks is an important part of keeping your vehicle up. Stop by Superior Hyundai South for maintenance and service.

Could This Be the New Tucson?

Soon enough, you will see a new generation of the Tucson when you visit Superior Hyundai South. While the new generation crossover hasn't been seen in the U.S. yet, it has been seen being tested in Germany where it's known as the ix35.

The new prototype features include five-spoke alloy wheels and a sportier design. Peter Schreyer and his design team have been working diligently on making eye candy out of the Tucson. This means that the new generation should have a significant build quality improvement. You may see a new grille, thinner panel lines and new outer shape.

Additional expected changes include LED headlights with a circular design and two triangular pipes with 3D-effect tips for the exhaust. If Hyundai keeps these things, the Tucson will definitely be set apart from its competition, who likes to hide its vehicles' plain-Jane exhausts behind the bumpers.

As far as engine, Hyundai hasn't released any information, but it is expected that the auto manufacturer will use some existing power plants including the 1.6-liter GDI and some of the 2.4-liter models. You may even see a turbocharged version.

If Hyundai decides to use the 1.6-liter turbocharged engine, the same one in the Veloster, you can expect around 201 horsepower and 195 pound-feet of torque. As configured for the Veloster, this engine is backed by a six-speed manual transmission. The engine features variable valve control and an intercooled turbo. This combination gets 24 mpg* in the city and 33 mpg* on the highway. It runs on regular unleaded fuel.

Keep your eye on this space for more information about the second generation Tucson as it becomes available. Because the release date isn't expected until late 2015, you should stop by Superior Hyundai South to test drive one of the current models.

Road Trip Must-Haves

http://pictures.dealer.com/s/superiorhyundai/0248/02cdef54516526ff49e431204f64cdb9x.jpg

You just bought or leased a new vehicle from Superior Hyundai South, or you just had your current vehicle serviced. Either way, it's time for a road trip. Whether it's a couple hours or a couple days to your destination, you should be prepared to spend some time in the vehicle. The less you have to stop for breaks, including food and drink breaks, the sooner you'll get to your destination, and this is a good thing when your time is limited to a day or a weekend. Packing for a short or long road trip is the same; you just change the amount of supplies you bring with you.

Keep a cooler full of ice, soda, water or tea within reach. This will keep you from stopping every couple hours for a drink break. If you plan on traveling through a meal, pack some sandwiches and snacks. If your trip is just a couple of hours, you might want some snacks, especially if you have kids.

Pack sandwiches into airtight snap-lid containers so they can ride in the cooler with the drinks. If you choose snacks that melt easily, put them in containers and in the cooler, too.

Make sure you have plenty for the kids to do. Whether they use their phones, a hand-held game console or you play games such as Yellow Car or the Alphabet Game, make sure they have something to stay entertained or you'll keep hearing the old "Are we there yet?" question over and over and over?

Pillows and blankets are great items for a road trip, especially if you have kids. If they start getting tired, they can fall asleep easier with their own pillows and blankets. If it's cool outside, a pillow and blanket for an adult passenger will keep you warm when you fall asleep.

Make sure your first aid kit is updated before you head out on the road. Even in a brand new vehicle, you never know if you're going to be stranded. Mother Nature could show her mean streak at the drop of a dime, so it's best to be prepared. In addition to bandages, antiseptics and other typical first aid kit items, you should have extra batteries, a charger for your cell phone and a whistle.

Stop by Superior Hyundai South before you leave to have everything checked, especially if it's been some time since your last service appointment.

Don't Miss the Hyundai Genesis and Sonata at the World Cup

The Genesis and the Sonata have a special job, as they will be the vehicles that will represent the auto manufacturer at the FIFA World Cup in Brazil. The World Cup will be held in June and July; and it's the perfect venue for Hyundai to amp up the entire brand. Previously, Hyundai used the Genesis and the Equus nameplates to advance premium market ambitions, but now the company wants to advance its entire line of vehicles, including the Sonata and other redesigned models you can find at Superior Hyundai South.

One of the ways to do this is to showcase the Sonata with the Genesis; and that is exactly what the Korean auto maker is doing. Both vehicles have been redesigned and both model years are launching about the same time, according to Steven Shannon, the vice president of marketing of Hyundai Motor America. Shannon also stated that Hyundai's sponsorship includes exclusive auto advertising on ESPN and Univision during the tournament coverage.

Additionally, Hyundai is putting together a program to help dealerships create golf programs of their own. The company will help dealerships find local tournaments.

The Sonata has new engineering, is more refined and quieter, has a better body structure and chassis, more technology and better fuel economy than previous versions. Shannon said that advertising the two cars together reminds people that the premier Genesis and the Sonata come from the same auto manufacturer.

The 2014 Hyundai Sonata GLS features a 2.4-liter engine backed by a six-speed automatic mode select transmission. This combination puts out 190 horsepower and 179 pound-feet of torque. It gets 24 mpg* in the city and 35 mpg* on the highway.

Convenience and entertainment features include speed control, an emergency communication system, remote keyless entry, an overhead console, an MP3 decoder, SiriusXM, six speakers and steering wheel-mounted audio controls, and an AM/FM stereo.

Safety and security features include brake assist, electronic stability control, ABS brakes, traction control, and more.

Stop by Superior Hyundai South today to test drive the Genesis or Sonata. If you go to the World Cup, be sure to take some pictures near the new Sonata and Genesis so you can share them with us!

Get to Know the 2015 Sonata, Inside and Out

Hyundai just unveiled the 2015 Sonata in a Korean event. It is not available in the United States yet, but you can expect to see it at Superior Hyundai South later this year. The new version of the Sonata features Hyundai's Fluidic Sculpture 2.0 design; and will have some changes to the front fascia and the rear. It will have daytime running lights, polygonal lights and grille, and an arching fastback roof line. The rear also has new tail lamps that are set higher in the deck.

The 2015 model is 1.2 inches wider and 1.4 inches longer than the 2014 model. Its wheelbase is also 0.4 inch longer. The new body features torsional stiffness at 41 percent and bending stiffness at 35 percent. According to Hyundai, 51 percent of the steel used in the 2015 model is advanced high-strength steel to make the vehicle lighter and safer.

Also new to the upcoming model year is a driver knee airbag, blind spot detection, radar cruise control, lane departure warning and automatic high beam headlights.

The interior features a new dashboard arrangement. Hyundai got rid of the symmetrical arrangement and created a dashboard that is more driver focused. It also changed the steering wheel rim thickness, updated the central driver information system to make it clearer, and sculpted the backs of the front seats so rear passengers would have more knee room.

Although the Korean auto manufacturer hasn't released the list of features for the U.S. version yet, you can expect an 8-inch touch screen infotainment system, heated front and rear seats, cooled front seats, a Smart Trunk function and rear window blinds.

The Sonata is being manufactured in Hyundai's Alabama plant and is expected to be available at Superior Hyundai South later this year. Keep your eye on this space or visit our Cincinnati dealership for more information as it becomes available.

Hyundai Genesis Wins Top Family Choice Award

https://www.hyundaiusa.com/images/home/breakthrough/general/2015/genesis/why_page/2015_genesis_sedan_vlp_hdri.jpg

The 2015 Hyundai Genesis already won the Top Family Choice award by the Greater Atlanta Automotive Media Association. The 2015 model was evaluated at the Lake Lanier Island Resort in Georgia; and the Top Family Choice Award is the event's most prestigious award. The new Genesis, which scored higher than any other competitor, will soon be available at Superior Hyundai South.

The 2015 Genesis appeals to people with a family, but don't want to give up the performance and style. And it's great for those who need a vehicle for business, yet would like something that's fun to drive when they're not driving clients around.

While the 2014 Genesis was quite impressive, the newest model is even better, thus giving its competitors a good run for their money. Not only does the Genesis fit the bill for business and fun, but it is inexpensive luxury when compared to other luxury brands, and it has more options in its base model than other luxury vehicles have in their base models.

The vice president of Corporate and Product Planning at Hyundai Motor America, Mike O'Brien, stated that it was an honor to receive the Top Family Choice Award and that it had a lot of competition at the GAAMA event, showing that the 2015 Hyundai Genesis has what it takes to succeed even in a highly competitive market.

New features for 2015 include safety features, driving assist features, high strength steel and compelling driving experience without compromising motoring experience. Safety features include rear cross traffic alert, blind spot detection, lane change assist and smart cruise control.

Keep your eye on this space or visit Superior Hyundai South for the appearance of the new 2015 Hyundai Genesis. Ask your salesperson about standard features including convenience, entertainment, safety and security features; and about any special financing that might be available when the 2015Genesis hits our Cincinnati dealership's lot.

Summer Fun in your Hyundai

Once you purchase or lease a new vehicle from Superior Hyundai South or have your current vehicle serviced, you are ready for some summer fun! Pack up for the weekend or even a week and head out to some fun things to do in Ohio.

Visit a different park every weekend. Ohio and neighboring Kentucky have tons of parks to visit. You can make a day trip of it or decide to pack the tent or haul your travel trailer and camp out for the week.

Visit amusement parks during the summer; check each park's site for specials and deals. You may consider a season pass for at least one park so you don't have to hassle with getting tickets every time you want to head out for some fun.

Make time to visit the area's museums and historical sites. Start in Cincinnati and work your way through the museums and historical sites throughout the state. You'll be surprised at how much Ohio history you never learned in school!

Check our website for new vehicle purchase and lease specials; and specials on service.

Make a game of visiting different restaurants in the state. Write the different types of restaurants on slips of paper and put them into a hat. Write the names of nearby cities in another hat. Each time you want to go out, pick a type of restaurant out of the hat, then pick a city out of the other hat. Find a restaurant of that type in that city to visit. This will encourage you to look for new favorite places to eat. For example, if you pick "steak" and "Cleveland," look for a steak house with good ratings in Cleveland. Plan a day trip to see the sights in that city to make it even more fun.

Remember, before you head out, be sure your vehicle's maintenance is up to date and that anything that needs to be repaired has been repaired. If it's been some time since your last service appointment, contact Superior Hyundai South to schedule an appointment.
